The headquarters of Gruppe Mihiel was located in the former Abbey of Saint-Benoît-en-Woëvre. The abbey was completely destroyed by the fighting, and its remains can still be seen today. The coordinates of this headquarters are: 48°59'16.50"N 5°47'6.76"E
